Just about to support Franz Ferdinand on their European tour are Berlin wunderkind duo Jonas Poppe and Sebastian Dasse aka KISSOGRAM. This March they release their 3rd album "Rubber & Meat" (recorded in Stockholm with international big shot Pelle Gunnerfeldt, producer of The Hives and Money Mark), and imbetween the dates in Europe will be coming to the UK for a one-off show at Blow Up. Founded in the late 90s teenagers, they conquered the german charts and club charts with "If I had known this before". In 2004 they completed a europe-wide tour with Peaches. Their debut album "The Secret Life of Cap. Ferber" was produced by Gonzales, featuring among others Feist and one of the best pop songs of the decade "Forsaken People come to Me" Jonas and Sebastian, who are for the first time completed by Joe Dilworth (ex Stereolab & Add N To X) on drums, are described as "state of the art" - the future of both rock'n'roll and electronic dance music all at once. In contrast to their electronic contemporaries Digitalism, Justice or Hot Chip they not only rock or pop the dance floor, but also fill it with savvy poetry as embraced by the great rock'n'roll artists. The sound of this party apocalypse is Future Pop Music.
